tixCraft: set up your account before sale day

Who this is for

Anyone buying a show whose official ticket page uses tixCraft. tixCraft sells online only: you cannot buy tixCraft tickets at a convenience store kiosk. Each event then adds its own rules, which come first.

Steps

1. Choose Sign in and pick Facebook or Google. You can use only one, and it cannot be changed once your mobile number is verified. 2. Fill in your details. One person, one account: the account is tied to your ID or passport number and to your mobile number, and neither can be used for a second account. The ID number cannot be changed later. 3. For the passport field, tixCraft’s account-creation help specifies 10 characters: add leading zeros if your number is shorter, or enter its first 10 characters if it is longer. 4. Overseas address: choose Overseas in the menu, then type your address after the text 999OverseasAddress. 5. Verify your mobile number. Buying only works after this step.

Paying

Payment methods are set per event. tixCraft generally accepts Visa, Mastercard and JCB credit and debit cards, but some events exclude debit cards or particular issuing banks; check your event’s Purchasing Rules. American Express and Diners Club are not accepted. UnionPay is accepted only for some events. You have 10 minutes to confirm the order and 15 minutes on the card page. Do not go back or close the card page. Whatever message you see after paying, open My Tickets and read the Order Status. "Order confirmed" means the payment worked. If the status says "Credit card processing failed", check whether your order has switched to another payment method with a deadline; otherwise, return to the event page and start a new purchase.

Exceptions to check on your event page

Read the event’s Purchasing Rules, Collection Rules and Refund Policy before the sale. Events set their own ticket limit, payment methods and collection method. Real-name requirements differ by event: check whose name must appear on each ticket, which original ID is accepted and whether corrections are allowed. Check the official event page for your show’s specific requirements. A working account is not proof that your card or your ID is accepted for a show.

Mobile numbers from outside Taiwan Unconfirmed

No official source states this. Check the official announcement before you rely on it.

The tixCraft help article does not say which countries’ mobile numbers can be verified. Try the verification well before sale day, so there is time to contact tixCraft if the code does not arrive.

What Encore Taiwan does not do

Do not send Encore Taiwan your passport number or ticket order code; provide them only through the official ticketing or collection process when required.
